North Carolina native Eric Church is a huge University of North Carolina fan, and he was on the sidelines during Friday’s game at Virginia Tech.

A fan tweeted a video of his excited reaction when his song “The Outsiders” started playing on the sound system.

Unfortunately for Eric, UNC lost the game in a huge upset.  The Hokies shut down No. 10 North Carolina and Heisman Trophy hopeful Sam Howell, in a 17-10 win. Howell was sacked six times and threw three interceptions.
