Sunrize is One of Chesapeake Humane Society’s Longest Residents and Needs a Home

I visited Chesapeake Humane Society today for Furry Friday where I met Sunrize who is up for adoption.

Sunrise is two years old and one of the longest residents at CHS. He is a friendly, playful guy who loves people and gets along with other cats. He played the whole time I was there- just happy to have someone to interact with.

While I was there, I met some of their other residents like Beetlejuice, Bells and Phillip, who are all waiting for their forever homes.

All of the animals up for adoption would love for you to join in on the fun at Bark in the Park, Chesapeake Humane Society’s largest annual fundraiser.

This year’s week-long event from October 10th-17th will feature educational videos on our social media platforms about a wide variety of animal-related topics, an online silent auction, and an in-person event at Back Bay’s Farmhouse Brewing Co on October, 17th.

This event offers opportunities for everyone and we hope you participate!

All proceeds benefit the homeless animals at Chesapeake Humane Society. Visit their website for more information or to become a sponsor: http://chesapeakehumane.org/bip/
