“Scream” 5 Movie Trailer Drops 25 Years After the Original. {Watch}

Do you like scary movies? In the best scream voice that I can impersonate.

Really, part 5? Ok, here we go! I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since the first “Scream” came out in 1996. I remember hanging out at the small mall we had back home where the theater was located and folks were going crazy for “Scream.” It would sell out, constantly. You couldn’t get a ticket, even to the late night shows. “Scream” took over the world for a little while back in 1996. Then, the film franchise started doing what every franchise does, continues the story. Why, don’t, stop! Forgive me, I just don’t think the 5th installment is going to bring it back to relevancy. I could be wrong, we’ll have to wait and see next January. Which is another thing that drives me crazy. Why would you relese a thriller film in January? I know the first quarter is slow, but release the movie close to Halloween. Strategically, wouldn’t the film make more money? Why doesn’t anyone listen to me???

Sorry, I kind of went off there for a second. The film is an updated adaptation of the ghostface killer. They’ve incorprated text messaging and turn key capabilities in the show. Neve Campbell returns as Sidney Prescott, Courtney Cox is back as Gale Weathers, and David Arquette is back as Dewey Riley. The film will hit theaters on January, 14. Check out the trailer below. So, do you still like scary movies?
