Virginia Beach is ranked among the top 10 cities in the country for veterans, according to Wallethub.

The personal finance website compared the nation’s 100 largest cities across 20 key indicators of livability, affordability and veteran-friendliness. They range from share of military skill-related jobs to veteran income growth to availability of VA health facilities.

Tampa, FL was listed as the #1 place for Veterans to live while Virginia Beach was ranked #8 overall.

Within the specific categories, Virginia Beach was tied for the highest veteran population and came in at #2 on the list of fewest homeless veterans per veteran population.

Chesapeake, Va was ranked at #28 on the overall list while Norfolk was listed as #84.
