Luke Combs Reflects on His Success Says He’d Still Be Playing Music Even If He Was “A Complete Nobody”

Luke Combs reflected on his rise to fame in a new Instagram post on Wednesday, Nov. 4th.

In the audio only clip he can be heard saying, “You know, having 20,000 people buy tickets for that is just insane to me. It’s like absolutely mind blowing stuff.”

“It’s been awesome,” he continued. “Ya know there are things that I love about each setting and there’s stuff that I love about amphitheaters and there’s stuff that I don’t. There’s stuff that I love about playing a 200 seat club, and there’s stuff that I don’t.”

“Ya know, but I love it all the same,” Luke added. “I would have as much fun if I was in either one because I’d be doing what I love anyways. I would be doing the same things in some capacity, whether I was known, or a complete nobody. I would be doing it either way.”

“It’s just been awesome to have gotten to do all these things and to have accomplished all those goals over the course of 2.5-3 years, and do it with people that you love doing it with,” Luke concluded.

He captioned the audio clip, “I don’t care if I’m playing for 70 people or 70,000 people. I just love playing country music, so I’d still be doing this whether I was in the minor leagues or the big leagues because I do what I do because I love it.”
