Blake Shelton Jokingly Reveals Why Adam Levine Wasn’t Invited to His Wedding

Blake Shelton appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, Dec. 6th where he helped hand out Christmas gifts and performed his new single, “Come Back As a Country Boy.”
Blake talked about his wedding to Gwen Stefani on July 3rd saying, “it was all her vision…all I had to do was drink and kiss Gwen Stefani. It was the greatest gig I ever had.”
Ellen asked Blake why he didn’t invite his friend Adam Levine to the wedding and he jokingly responded that it was because of the interview the pop singer gave on Degeneres’ show back in April.
During his appearance, Levine joked, “I don’t support their marriage. She’s so cool, and he’s not.”
“That’s the reason we didn’t invite to him to the wedding,” Shelton jokingly said.
“I purposely did not invite Adam Levine to my wedding and I think it’s funny,” he laughed, adding it had been a small event with less than 30 people.
“It was awesome,” he concluded. “It was exactly what it needed to be.”
