Do you know about the Christmas lights in this Virginia Beach neighborhood?

This has been my first holiday season in Hampton Roads, and I’ve been having so much fun discovering all of the local seasonal activities for Christmas. A couple weeks ago, I used this 97.3 Eagle Christmas Lights Map Round-up to drive around the Chesapeake area and check out some of the amazing light displays out there, which was super fun! But last night, I got to check out a holiday hidden gem of a local neighborhood that I hadn’t heard about anywhere yet (which is why I wanted to share it with you here today!).

A new friend of mine who is a Virginia Beach native invited me to come out and see the beautiful Christmas light displays on a few select streets in North End. 43rd and 44th streets in Virginia Beach (the very first few streets in North End, near the Cavalier Hotel). There is free street parking available on both streets. Just about all of the houses on these two streets go all out with beautiful Christmas lights and decorations!! I felt like I was walking around in some sort of Hallmark movie. All of the houses themselves are so charming and have so much character, and if you add in the lights and decorations it really becomes magical. Grab your favorite hot beverage and coat, your family or friends, and head down to 43rd and 44th streets in North End to enjoy the lights before this season ends! Here are a few of my favorite houses:
