Gemma is a Sweet and Shy 3-Year-Old Hoping Someone Takes Her Home

UPDATE: Gemma was adopted!

Stephanie Taylor visited Chesapeake Animal Services this week to meet Gemma, a 3 year old pit bull terrier, who is up for adoption.

This sweet laid-back girl was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in November.

She has been getting used to all the new people she is meeting and although she was shy at first, she is starting to come out of her shell.

She is a calm girl who would do well with a family who understands she may need a little time to show you all of her adorable personality.

Right now, she is scared of other dogs but she could do well with another calm furry friend like herself. If you have another dog, schedule a meet and greet to see if they might get a long.

Can’t adopt but still want to help? You can sponsor Gemma’s adoption through their Guardian Angel program here.

Or check out their Amazon wishlist here.
