Good news Yellowstone fans, the popular Dutton family drama is officially returning for Season 5 in 2022.
Paramount network announced the news in a press release on Thursday (Feb. 3).
Here’s what we know so far…
Production on the new season is set to start in May of 2022.
The entire principal cast is returning, including Kevin Costner (John Dutton), Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton), Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton), Wes Bentley (Jamie Dutton), Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler), Kelsey Asbille (Monica Dutton), Brecken Merrill (Tate Dutton), Jefferson White (Jimmy Hurdstrom), Forrie Smith (Lloyd Pierce), Denim Richards (Colby), Ian Bohen (Ryan), Finn Little (Carter), Ryan Bingham (Walker) and Gil Birmingham (Thomas Rainwater).
Additionally, Jen Landon (Teeter) and Kathryn Kelly (Emily) have been upped series regulars, so fans can expect to see more of their characters in the new season.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network is further expanding the franchise with another Yellowstone offshoot, 6666, in the works.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any details about a second season for the prequel “1883,” starring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
