Chris Stapleton to Perform Tribute to Las Vegas Shooting Victims on ACM Awards


The 2022 ACM Awards are set to take place in Las Vegas tonight (Mar. 7).

Dolly Parton will host the show along with Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett.  We can look forward to performances from country music’s biggest names like Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, and Carrie Underwood.

Also set to take the stage is Chris Stapleton and according to People, he will perform “Watch You Burn.” a song he wrote following the Route 91 shooting, in Las Vegas on October 2017.

The song appears on his 2020 album Starting Over, but this will be the first time Chris performs it live on television.

Chris is nominated for the biggest award of the night, Entertainer of the Year, along with Male Vocalist, Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

The show starts at 8pm with red carpet coverage on Amazon Prime. Here’s how you can watch.
