Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean peformed their hit duet “If I Didn’t Love You” at the 2022 ACM Awards.

The pair took home the award for ‘Single of The Year’ and delivered in incredible peformance with Carrie dropping in from the ceiling.

Carrie said backstage she wanted to add a little danger to the performance.

and it turns out, Jason Aldean was nervous for her.

“I was scared for her, actually,” he shared backstage. “When we came to rehearsals, I knew she was coming from the ceiling, but I was like, ‘Where’s she sitting?’ And they showed me this little bitty seat. I went to her and said, ‘Man, I’m glad you’re doing this and not me, because I would have tapped out.’

“She’s a trooper for sure,” he added.
