Miranda Lambert and Elle King Become First Women in Country Music to Earn #1 Duet Since 1993

Elle King and Miranda Lambert’s “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” has officially reached the top of the country charts.

The song took the No.1 spot on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart on Sunday (April 10) and this marks the first time a female duet has held the number one position since Reba McEntire and Linda Davis’ “Does He Love You” in 1993!

This marks Elle’s 2nd number 1 hit on country radio and Miranda’s 10th.

Miranda took to Twitter to thank Reba and Linda for paving the way, along with her duet partner.

Reba responded to the milestone by congratulating Elle and Miranda and telling them to have a drink for her.
