Norfolk Animal Care Seeks Community’s Help Fostering Homeless Dogs and Kittens

Furry Friday: I went to meet Bear who is up for adoption at Norfolk Animal Care Center.
Bear is about 2 years old, potty trained, SUPER friendly, and well-behaved. He was sitting like a little gentleman in the chair when I walked in.
He loves people and will cuddle up in your lap immediately.
Bear would get along great with kids and if you have other dogs, you can schedule a meet and greet to make sure they get along as well.
NACC is the city’s animal sheltering facility. They are open-admission, providing a safe haven for animals from the City of Norfolk.
On average, the Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center cares for 400 to 600 animals each month, and over 5,000 animals each year.
The shelter is currently full and is in need of foster homes for adult dogs and kittens.
Bean is a new momma who is up for adoption. Her kittens are currently in foster care and Bean has been spayed and is ready to find her own fur-ever home.
