Garth Brooks has postponed ticket sales to his upcoming show in Buffalo, New York following the mass shooting that took place over the weekend.
Tickets for the show were scheduled to go on sale this Friday.
In a statement, Brooks said that the postponement was out of respect for what the Buffalo community is going through.
“At some point, the healing will begin in Buffalo, and the city will sing again. But for now, we pause out of respect for what the great community of Buffalo is going through, and we stand beside all of those who are hurting and confused by such an unthinkable act.”
The new sale date will be announced in the coming weeks. The show is still scheduled for July 23rd.
