Lainey Wilson Cancels Shows Due to Family Emergency, Asks For Prayers

Lainey Wilson is asking for fans’ prayers amidst a family emergency.

The country singer took to social media on Wednesday (July 27) to announce a break from touring to be with her family during a “critical” time.

“Due to a family emergency, I’m unable to play this weekend’s shows in Maquoketa, IA and Arnold Park, IA. I’m so sorry to cancel last minute, but please trust I would not be backing out if it weren’t critical.”

“Please keep my family in your prayers,” she added.

Wilson’s new single “Heart Like a Truck” is climbing the country music charts and she will appear in the new season of “Yellowstone” on Paramount +.
