Rare Flash-Flood Footage Caught In My Hometown in Southern New Mexico. {Watch}

Haboobs, Flash-floods, wind gusts that blow 70 mph, that’s how the weather behaves itself in the southwest. It’s currently monsoon season down there, I know, it sounds crazy. These flash floods come out of nowhere when it rains a lot in the mountains.

My hometown had one of these 100-year floods a few years back and they had to go back and redo pretty much the entire small town’s irrigation system. I’m not sure if it’s working though.

Check out the video my mom sent me on Wednesday night.
