Chris Stapleton Shares Special Moment with 6-Year-Old Fan at Walmart

Chris Stapleton was spotted this week at a Kentucky Walmart buying supplies to help the victims of the Eastern Kentucky flooding.

During that trip, Chris met a little girl named Etta with special needs and her mom shared the touching story of their interaction on social media.

Etta’s mom, Courtney Crider, shared a video on TikTok saying, Our daughter with multiple special needs loves Chris Stapleton (his voice calms her). Today he was in our local Walmart helping flood victims from Eastern KY. God put them together for a sweet visit. Thank you Chris for helping our community and meeting sweet Etta.”

She captioned the post set to Stapleton’s Joy of My Life, “What a happy day.”

The video went viral and Courtney shared with WKYT that Etta has autism, and there are times when the only thing that will calm her down when she’s overstimulated is listening to Chris’ music.

“So at first, Etta was really all about his beard and his face, because she is a sensory seeker. But, after I told her that it was him. again, it was like it clicked and she got superstar struck,” Crider told WYMT. “She was giddy and laughing.”
