A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, serves the U.S. Navy aboard one of the world’s largest warships, the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, USS Carl Vinson.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Preston Wall, a 2014 Great Bridge High School graduate, joined the Navy one year ago.

“I was inspired to join the Navy to prove that I could do it, to improve myself and to get better technical skills,” said Wall.
