The 2022 ACM Honors took place on Wednesday (Aug. 24). Stars in attendance included Kelsea Ballerini, who performed on the show, and Shania Twain, who was honored with the ACM Poets Award.
Ballerini also honored Twain by walking the red carpet in the same dress she wore to the Grammy Awards in 1999.
The country music icon famously wore the full-sleeve, sequined, floor-length gown when she won a Grammy for “You’re Still the One.”
Kelsea borrowed the gown which has been on display at the Grammy Museum during the Power of Women in Country exhibit.
if your hero is shania twain, meet your hero. you may become friends and she may even let you wear THE dress. 🤍
(ps thank you @GRAMMYMuseum for letting me borrow it for 24 hours !!! pss tune in to see the whole acm honors sept 13) pic.twitter.com/0uRlSGQYRJ

It's been a bumpy ride, I kept my chin up, developed a tough skin and got on with it!! I got to spend the night in the historical Ryman Auditorium surrounded by my friends, fellow songwriters and beautiful fans, what a gorgeous night 🥰❤️
