The singer’s new album Subject to Change, came out last week and features new songs like “What I Have” and “Get Over Yourself.” Since writing and recording the album, Ballerini announced her separation from her husband Morgan Evans, and during the tour stop, she changed some of the lyrics on two songs to reflect her single status.
During “What I Have,“ Kelsea changed “I got a warm body in bed” to “I got my own body in bed” and in “Get Over Yourself,” instead of “I’m the crazy ex that wrecks your life” she sang “I’m the crazy [B-word] that wrecks your life”.
Ballerini and Evans were married in 2017 and she filed for divorce in August of 2022.
