City of Portsmouth Offers Safe Parking Option During Storm

Over the next few days, Hampton Roads will be receiving some of the rain and after affects of Hurricane Ian. This could put residents in low-lying areas at a risk of flooding. For residents of Portsmouth who live in flood-prone areas, the city is providing a safe and free option for residents to park their vehicles over the weekend.

The Middle Street and County Street parking garages will be open all weekend to residents with vehicles in low-lying areas. No trailers are permitted. Vehicles can remain in the garages until Monday, October 3 at 7 a.m. For more information, see this press release from the City of Portsmouth here.
