George Strait, Keith Urban, Wynonna, and More to Perform at Loretta Lynn’s Public Memorial Service


CMT will honor the life of country music icon Loretta Lynn this month.

The network has partnered with her family to air Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Celebration of the Life and Music of Loretta Lynn from the Grand Ole Opry House on Sunday, October 30th.

The event will include special performances by Brandi Carlile, Crystal Gayle, Darius Rucker, Emmy Russell & Lukas Nelson, George Strait, The Highwomen with Brittney Spencer, Keith UrbanLittle Big Town, Margo Price, Tanya Tucker and Wynonna Judd.

The special will also feature appearances from friends and family, including Barbara Mandrell, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow and Tim McGraw.

Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Celebration of the Life and Music of Loretta Lynn wll be televised live and commercial-free on CMT beginning at 7PM ET. 

If you miss the initial airing on Oct. 30th, two additional commercial-free encores on Wednesday, November 2nd at 8pm EST and Sunday, November 6th at 11amEST. The special will also be made available on Paramount+ in early 2023.
