Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans Reach Settlement 2 Months After She Filed for Divorce

Kelsea Ballerina and Morgan Evans have reached a settlement in their divorce.

Court documents obtained by People state that they have left their marital home, which is currently listed for sale with a mutually agreed upon real estate agent.

The couple had a prenuptial agreement and their marital furnishings and personal property will be divided between them.

Kelsea addressed the split on Instagram two months ago saying, “Friends, I’ve always tried my best to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way, while also protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold. This is now public record so I wanted you to hear from me directly that I am going through a divorce.

This deeply difficult decision is the result of a journey of love, growth, and effort that ultimately has come to an end. It’s hard to find the words here…but I feel extremely grateful for the years of marriage to Morgan and hopeful for the next seasons.”

With very active schedules coming up, please be mindful that we are both fragile, actively healing, and showing up the best we can.”

Morgan issued a statement at the time saying, “I am very sad to confirm that after almost 5 years of marriage, Kelsea and I are parting ways. I wish it were otherwise but sadly it is not.”

Since then, both singers have alluded to the cause of the split on social media.

Morgan wrote and recorded a new song titled “Over For You” telling fans, “It was a difficult time in my life and writing this song helped me process a lot of what I was going through.”

And in a now-deleted post, Kelsea lip-synched to Taylor Swift’s new song, Midnights, with the lyrics: “he wanted it comfortable, I wanted that pain, He wanted a bride I was making my own name, Chasing that fame, He stayed the same, All of me changed like midnight”
