2022 American Music Award Winners: Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift, and More


Taylor Swift was the big winner at the 2022 American Music Awards Sunday night.

She won all six awards she was nominated for, including Artist of the Year.

The legendary Lionel Richie took home the Icon Award, presented by Smokey RobinsonStevie Wonder and Charlie Puth took to dueling pianos to pay tribute to him, then invited a number of the night’s stars onstage for “We Are the World.”

Carrie Underwood represented country music with her high-flying performance. The “Ghost Story” singer dropped from the ceiling on a trapeze apparatus to perform her song “Crazy Angels.”

Carrie’s tourmate, Jimmie Allen, helped introduce her performance.

Dan & Shay were on hand to present the biggest award of the night “Artist of the Year,” which went to Swift.

Dustin Lynch helped present Taylor with the Music Video of the Year award.
