In 2023, Starbucks will be making changes to its stars based rewards program. They will be requiring more stars for certain food and beverage items, as first reported by Business Insider. On the flipside, a few items will require fewer stars than before.

Some of the star tiers are also changing:

50 Stars is now 100 Stars. 

150 Stars is now 200 Stars. 

250 Stars is now 300 Stars.
