Country music star Kane Brown has announced that he will be taking a break from music to spend more time with his family and pursue his acting career. During an interview with ET at the Stagecoach festival, Kane revealed that he will be taking a couple of months off after his current tour ends to focus on his personal life.
Kane stated, “We’re taking a couple months off, coming up. I don’t know what I’m going to do, but whatever’s there [with acting] I’m going to try and pursue. I want to say somewhere around September we’re done.” He also expressed his desire to spend more time with his family and create some memories with them, especially now that they have bought a home in Florida and his daughters have just experienced the beach for the first time.
This break from music may be the perfect opportunity for Kane to explore his acting career further. His recent guest appearance on the TV show “Fire Country” received positive feedback from the show’s creator, who praised Kane’s natural talent and ability.
Kane is up for Entertainer of the Year at the ACM Awards on May 11th.
