Dolly Parton’s Upcoming Rock Album Features Over 40 Guests, Including Elton John, Sting, and More


Dolly Parton has unveiled the star-studded lineup for her highly anticipated rock album.

Titled “Rockstar,” Dolly Parton’s new album will include nine original compositions and 21 covers. But that’s not all—prepare to be blown away as over FORTY different guest stars join forces with Dolly to create pure magic. The star-studded roster includes legends such as Elton John, Sting, Steven Tyler, Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, and many more iconic names from the music industry.

One of the most exciting highlights of the album is the mini Beatles reunion, as both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr lend their talents to a special cover of the timeless classic “Let It Be.”

The lead track off ROCKSTAR is the timely original “World on Fire,” and is available this Thursday, May 11, to coincide with the world premiere performance of the song at the ACM Awards.

Dolly shared with her label, “I’m so excited to finally present my first Rock and Roll album Rockstar! I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure.
