Lainey Wilson Makes Red Carpet Debut With Former Pittsburgh Steelers QB


Female Artist of the Year Lainey Wilson had a huge night at the ACM Awards.  In addition to winning Female Artist, she took home the ACM for Album of the Year for Bell Bottom Country, and Music Event of the Year, and Visual Event of the Year for “Wait in the Truck” with Hardy.

Wilson also made it red carpet official with former Pittsburg Steelers QB Devlin “Duck” Hodges.  The couple walked hand in hand, confirming rumors that they are dating.

Hodges tweeted his surprise when Lainey rocked his jersey just a few weeks ago.

He later shared, “shooting my shot.”

and they continued a Twitter flirtation.

Just a few weeks later, the pair showed up at the ACM Awards together.

After serving as a four-year starter at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, the former quarterback joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019 as an undrafted free agent. He became the starter during the 2019 season when Mason Rudolph got injured, achieving a 3-3 record. Subsequently, he was waived by the Steelers and joined their practice squad before the 2020 season. Following his time with the Steelers, he played one season for the Ottawa Redblacks in the Canadian Football League before retiring from professional football.
