Reba McEntire Set to Replace Blake Shelton on ‘The Voice’

It’s official.  Reba is taking over Blake Shelton’s seat on The Voice.

The NBC show announced its lineup for Season 24 and Reba will join Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan, and John Legend as a coach.

Reba served as a Mega Mentor during Season 23.

Shelton was the last original coach on The Voice and the only one to coach all 23 seasons.  Funny enough, Reba revealed to Billboard magazine that she was originally offered the role that eventually went to Blake.

“I got [a look at] the Holland version of The Voice. They sent it to me and I said, ‘I can’t see me doing that,’ because, you know I’m a gypsy at heart,” she told the outlet.

It looks like Reba had a change of heart and will settle down, for one season at least.  Season 24 kicks off this fall on NBC.
