Meet Pewter, also known as Pew Pew, an adorable 8-year-old pup who is looking for her forever home at Portsmouth Humane Society.

She came as a stray so we don’t know a lot about her past but we do know she is very calm and gentle and good with other dogs.
She is heartworm positive, but don’t worry, Portsmouth provides the treatment, you just provide the love. If you can’t adopt a great way to help is to foster a dog or cat. It frees up room in the shelter and lets you get to know the pet better outside of the shelter environment.
Another way to support the animals at Portsmouth Humane Society is with a fun day of golfing! The annual Arthur G. Meginley, Jr. Golf Tournament is coming up on June 15th at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth.
