Ed Sheeran opened up about his possible shift to country music during an appearance on Today Tuesday (June 6th).

The “Shape of You” singer told Carson Daly, “I lived in Nashville for a couple of years, and I kind of fell in love with [country music] there. That’s something I would love to do at some point.”

The country music tease comes just a few weeks after Sheeran teamed up with Luke Combs for a new version of “Life Goes On”

Ed recently told Billboard. “I talk about this to my wife all the time.  I would love to transition to country.  I love the culture of it . . . I just love the songwriting.  It’s just like brilliant songs.”
