Miranda Lambert is making headlines after a viral video began circulating showing the country singer pausing her concert to ask a group of fans to stop taking photos.
Most of the headlines said that the fans were taking selfies, but it was later revealed that they had another concertgoer take the photo.
One of the women in the photo, Adela Calin, shared in a phone interview with NBC News, “It was 30 seconds at most. We took the picture quickly and were going to sit back down.”
“It felt like I was back at school with the teacher scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to sit down back in my place,” the social media influencer said. “I feel like she was determined to make us look like we were young, immature and vain. But we were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture.”
Here are the photos in question.

Another fan in attendance shared a different viewpoint of the moment as well saying, “six women, taking multiple selfies, with flash…I get her frustration.”
Different view of the Miranda Lambert show-stopping moment at her show at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on Saturday. Six women, taking multiple selfies, with flash, VIP section, backs to the stage. I get her frustration. This is ridiculous. #RJNow @reviewjournal pic.twitter.com/vZcMDIsH9p
