Cap’n Crunch is celebrating its 60th anniversary by finally making the legendary mascot a real Captain!
While an American naval captain proudly displays four gold bars on his sleeves, Cap’n Crunch initially wore just one bar (ensign), then two bars (lieutenant), and later three bars (commander).
For the 60th anniversary, the cereal company updated his uniform to give him four bars saying, “The internet has spoken, and we listened. Introducing: My new look and my 4th stripe era!”
