Newport News Parks and Rec Helps Residents Cool Off With “Wet & Wacky Wednesdays”

Looking for a fun and refreshing way to cool down this summer? The Newport News Department of Parks and Recreation is offering “Wet & Wacky Wednesdays” at the Denbigh Community Center for FREE!

The festivities kicked off on Wednesday, July 26, and are set to continue for the next three weeks.

The best part? “Wet & Wacky Wednesdays” are entirely free residents! While participants of all ages are welcome to join in the fun, kids aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to ensure their safety and enjoyment.

Mark your calendars for August 2 and August 9, as the event will return on these dates from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Denbigh Community Center is conveniently located on Warwick Boulevard.
