Annaliese’s Adventures: Long Weekend in Charleston, SC

I just got home from a fun long weekend trip to the South Carolina Lowcountry! My boyfriend Ryan’s cousin got married in Daniel Island (a suburb of Charleston) on Saturday, and his whole family spent a few days down in the Charleston area to attend the wedding and enjoy sightseeing.

I’ve been to Charleston a few times before, but it’s always been in brutally hot weather in the middle of summer. I really enjoyed visiting in October and would highly recommend it! It was in the 80s every day, but with lower humidity than summer. The perfect weather for exploring!

Here are some photos of our weekend! If you enjoy my Annaliese’s Adventures posts here on the Eagle website, check out all of my travel posts on my personal blog Southern Belle in Training.

Paintings for sale at Charleston City Market (I bought one but left it in our hotel room- now I have to pay a lot of money for it to be shipped back to Virginia. Boo! Haha.)
