Can you help lighten the load? Virginia Beach Animal Services will be unable to wash any shelter laundry for two weeks, starting September 23rd. The shelter processes multiple large bins of dirty bedding daily, and the animals rely on clean, comfortable bedding to feel safe and secure.

Virginia Beach Animal Services is seeking assistance from the community. If you know of a laundry service that might be willing to donate some help, or if you can pick up a bag (or more!) of dirty bedding to wash at home, your help would be greatly appreciated.

The shelter is working on a schedule to ensure the animals have fresh bedding every day. Pick-up of dirty bedding would be around noon, and drop-off of clean bedding can take place anytime between noon and 5 PM.
