Luke Bryan proved the show must go on during a concert in Arkansas on Thursday night.
Halfway through his set, Luke’s voice started to give out—something he told the crowd “happens every time” he plays that venue. But instead of walking offstage, he did the opposite. “I don’t give a damn, I’m gonna refund everybody their tickets tonight and we’re going to keep doing the damn show, okay?” he told the crowd, who erupted into cheers.
Bryan powered through the rest of his performance, but unfortunately, the illness caught up with him, and he had to cancel the next two shows. Friday’s stop in Dallas, Texas has been rescheduled for September 12th, and Saturday night’s show in Lafayette, Louisiana is now set for September 11th.
