Man Found In Field After Night Out At Jason Aldean’s Nashville Bar: ‘There’s a Large Gap of Time Missing’

What should have been a fun night on Broadway turned pure fear and mystery when 30-year-old Taylor Boylan disappeared after last being seen at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar in Nashville on Saturday Morning.

The 30-year-old member of a Vancouver, Canada club hockey team was visiting Music City over the weekend to play in the Nashville Cup hockey tournament at Centennial Sportsplex.

According to NewsChannel 5’s Nick Beres, who shared the disappearance on his Facebook page, Boyland’s brother, Tyson said his sibling was unable to be located for more than 30 hours. Tyson had little to no details other than security later found his brother’s cellphone that had been tossed away near Bridgestone Arena.

He was also able to review footage filmed by a teammate that showed Taylor dancing with an unidentified woman at the bar. It remains unclear when he left the establishment or whether or not he was alone. Tyson traveled from Vancouver to assist in the search.

At the time of Beres’ original post, there was no indication of foul play, however, Taylor’s family appeared suspicious, as they emphasized that it was completely out of character for him to vanish without alerting anyone.

Beres kindly asked that if anyone spotted Taylor or knew of his possible whereabouts around the area to contact Metro police immediately. Thanks to nearly a million shares of photos and videos provided by his family, the search for Taylor gained fast momentum online.

A major breakthrough in the case came thought late Sunday when a woman messaged Beres claiming she believed to have spotted a disoriented man matching Taylor’s description at a McDonald’s off McGavock Pike. Metro Nashville Police quickly responded and confirmed it was Boylan. He was then reunited with his family.

Boylen Speaks Out

Unfortunately, the mystery does not end there. Beres went on to say that he has been in contact with Boylan and has learned that the hockey player remembers nothing of what happened to him.

“Nick, not exactly sure what happened, but there’s a large gap of time missing from the nighttime to early morning,” he explained. “I woke up in a field missing my apple watch, wallet emptied out except my IDs, and no phone. Went to hospital yesterday for tests but they couldn’t detect anything abnormal in my system which they said was the unfortunate but likely outcome with those tests.”

He went on to say that physically, he feels “fine” other than a few bumps and bruises found throughout his body, but mentally, he is riddled with unanswered questions.

Beres concluded his latest update by thanking the millions of users who kept up with the case and shared updates that helped Taylor Boylan reunite with his family.

“So, what exactly happened here may never be known, but you can’t rule out the possibility he may have been drugged, led away from the bar and then robbed. That would not be the first time something like this has happened. I’m just glad Taylor is okay. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.”
