If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who enjoys quiet cuddles and outdoor adventures, allow us to introduce Patsy. This 6-year-old sweetheart is currently waiting for her forever home at Norfolk Animal Care Center, and she’s captured the hearts of staff and volunteers alike.

Patsy is a mellow soul who loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you under a cozy blanket. She’s gentle, affectionate, and easygoing—just the kind of pup who makes any space feel more like home.

Recently, Patsy went on a NACC Pack Adventure to Mount Trashmore Park, and she was the perfect companion. Volunteers shared that she enjoyed exploring the park, meeting friendly faces, and even scored a chicken nugget treat (lucky girl!). Her adventure buddies said she was “very sweet,” “loves to give kisses,” and showed off her smarts by following commands like “sit” and “shake.” She was also calm and relaxed during the car ride, making her an ideal travel buddy.

🐾 NACC Pack Adventures are available 7 days a week from 11:00AM–4:00PM (participants must be 18 or older to check out a dog).
🐾 Adoption hours at Norfolk Animal Care Center are 1:30PM–6:00PM daily, except Wednesdays when the shelter is closed.
