Cody Jinks just announced plans to release his 11th studio album, In My Blood. Out on July 5 via Late August Records the project includes 11 tracks, including the soon to be released tune, “Found.”
Written by Ward Davis, Brent Sherokey, and Andrew Peebles, “Found” is described as an empowering anthem that urges listeners to embrace their path of self-discovery, regardless of the challenges that come their way. “Found” lays the groundwork for an album built on raw honesty, hard-won insight, and the healing strength of self-awareness.
Jinks gave members of his FAM Club the exclusive first listen to “Found” and will release the song everywhere this Friday.

Produced by Joshua Thompson and Charles Godfrey, In My Blood brings a gritty, soulful twist to modern outlaw country. It blends the honest storytelling of classic honky-tonk with the power and energy of Southern rock. The album dives into themes like redemption, resilience, and the struggles of the working class. It paints a vivid picture of where Jinks has been—and where he’s headed next.
The title track is a collaboration with Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke, a longtime friend of Jinks and respected name in Southern rock. It marks the first time the two artists have recorded together.
“I think that ‘In My Blood,’ the song itself could be taken as the next chapter of Change the Game. We know what we did. We know where we’ve been. We know what we’ve done. ‘In My Blood’ is why we keep doing it,” Jinks shared.
