While looking back on the start of his career, Jon Pardi credits Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan for being mentors who he would regularly seek out advice from. These early conversations helped shape his journey as an artist and have since evolved into lifelong friendships.
Back in the day when Pardi was just starting to build momentum, Bentley and Bryan would bring him out on the road with them and show him the ropes along the way.
“Old-ass Dierks Bentley, his old ass,” he joked during an interview with Apple Music. “No, Dierks ain’t old. I love Dierks. I’ve done the most tours with Dierks and Luke Bryan. And those guys are brothers and they’ve always been, whatever I’m doing…We started on the first Dierks tour, we had 20 minutes and it was like the first of four, but we were definitely partying then. But still to the day, always there for advice.”
He goes on to remember a moment when he went to the “Love You, Miss You, Mean It” singer for guidance on crafting the perfect setlist. With all the success and hits Bryan had achieved, Pardi was eager to learn from his experiences.
“I remember talking to Luke Bryan about set lists, and he was like, ‘That’s such a good question.’ I was like, ‘What do you guys do,’ because he’s got 30 number ones now, I think. Because you want to play some of the other stuff…Then he talked to me, we talked about set lists. But he thought that was a great question.”
That kind of support early on meant a lot to the California. These days, Jon Pardi doesn’t just see Bentley and Bryan as friends, but more like brothers.

He concluded his message of praise for his friends by saying, “those guys have been brothers, and they’re great.”
Keeping all the advice he’s received from the country acts over the years in mind, Jon Pardi is now preparing to embark on his HONKYTONK HOLLYWOOD TOUR.
A slew of new dates have just been added to his run that kicks off April 25 and features support from Corey Kent on select dates and Kassi Ashton. The country star will find himself hitting arenas and amphitheaters across the US on the trek produced by Live Nation and Outback Concerts.
The just-announced dates begin on Sept. 18 in Grand Rapids, MI with Jake Worthington and Colby Acuff.
