Luke Bryan Inducted Into RODEOHOUSTON’s Prestigious Star Trail of Fame

Luke Bryan made his return to RODEOHOUSTON this weekend, where he was honored with a special recognition as he was inducted into the Star Trail of Fame by The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo before his concert.

On Sunday afternoon (March 23), Luke Bryan was inducted as the 11th member of the Star Trail of Fame, recognizing his significant influence on the Rodeo. His performance that evening marked his 12th appearance since 2012. During the ceremony, Bryan was honored by Pat Mann Phillips, Chairman of the Board, and Chris Boleman, President and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

“Luke Bryan has consistently been one of the most desired performers at RODEOHOUSTON and his influence on our organization and our attendees is immeasurable,” Boleman shared. “Bryan is a reflection of all the best of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and we are proud to induct him into the Star Trail of Fame.”

Bryan becomes the 11th artist to receive a gold plaque in recognition of his exceptional contributions to RODEOHOUSTON. He joins a prestigious group of celebrated performers on the wall, including Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Charley Pride, Elvis Presley, Gene Autry, George Strait, Reba, Roy Rogers, and Selena.

“What an honor it has been for me to perform at RODEOHOUSTON for so many years,” the five-time Entertainer of the Year said. “The dedication the Rodeo has on Texas students and the community is something I am so proud to have contributed to.”

Bryan’s RODEOHOUSTON performance comes amid his eighth season as a judge on American Idol and before the launch of his highly anticipated Country Song Came On Tour. The trek kicks off on May 29 and runs through August 30.

George Birge, Avery Anna, Ashland Craft, Mae Estes, Cole Goodwin, Braxton Keith, Randall King, Vincent Mason, Drake Milligan, Adrien Nunez, and Owen Riegling will join Bryan as special guests on select dates of the tour and DJ Rock will appear on all dates.

The tour is named in honor of his current chart-climbing single, “Country Song Came On.”
