Following weeks of build-up, Morgan Wallen has finally released the official track list for his highly anticipated 37-song I’m The Problem album.
On Wednesday, April 16, the hitmaker shared an Instagram post with a hand-drawn racecar spread over three slides, with each song title disguised as stickers on the car’s body. He then took to his Instagram story to drop a link to a website that clearly lays out the track list in order.
The news also revealed all five of the featured artists set to appear on the album: Tate McRae on “What I Want,” Eric Church on “Number 3 and Number 7,” HARDY on “Come Back As A Redneck,” ERNEST on “The Dealer,” and Post Malone on the previously announced “I Ain’t Comin’ Back.”
So far, the East Tennessee native has dropped the title track as well as songs like “Just In Case,” “Love Somebody,” “Smile,” “Lies Lies Lies” and “I’m A Little Crazy.”
This Friday (April 18), fans will get yet another look into the album with the first collaborative tune to be released, “I Ain’t Comin’ Back.”
Wallen shared this news across social media with a post that offered a black and white photo of him and Malone with a guitar and lighter in hand. From the snippet he’s already previewed of the song, it’s clear that the storyline finds Wallen battling a painful breakup and promising to never return to the town and place where his reputation will always live on.
He also gives nods to legendary NASCAR driver, Richard Petty and the premium scotch whisky, Johnnie Walker Black, further fueling to the song’s rebellious edge.
This isn’t the first time that the pair of artists have teamed up on a must-hear tune. Wallen also previously appeared on Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” which soared up the charts, becoming the Hot 100 No. 1 hit and is now nominated for ACM Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Event of the year. The song appears on Malone’s debut country record, F-1 Trillion.
Wallen also recently announced plans forThe Shop Sessions, a new series offering acoustic versions of tracks from his I’m The Problem album. These stripped-down tunes were recorded with the country superstar and his band inside an old auto shop. The first track to be released in an unplugged fashion is “Just In Case.”
“Found a badass old auto shop and recorded some songs from the new album with my band. The first one, “Just In Case (The Shop Sessions),” is out now,” he wrote alongside a video on Instagram.
It’s unclear when the remainder of the newly recorded tracks will be unveiled.
What we do know for sure is that his entire I’m The Problem collection is set to arrive May 16. Across the 37 tracks, Wallen is expected to that find him peeling back the layers of his life and feelings more than ever before.
The night the album releases, a sea of lucky fans will get to celebrate alongside Wallen at his inaugural, all-genre Sand In My Boots Festival taking place May 16-18. Then, he will embark on his 20-show I’m The Problem Tour.
