Tigirlily Gold’s Heartfelt ‘Forever From Here’ Lands Big Debut at Country Radio

Tigirlily Gold returns with “Forever From Here,” the sister duo’s first new release since their debut album, Blonde, arrived last year.

Co-written by Tigirlily Gold’s Kendra Olson and Krista Slaubaugh with four-time GRAMMY winner Shane McAnally and frequent collaborator Pete Good, “Forever From Here,” serves as a love letter to the Midwest, and has an underlying message about love, commitment, and building a future with the one you love.

Filled with imagery, the opening verse paints a stunning photo in listeners’ heads as they sing about fields turning gold, a red sunset, and the first fall night when “you can see your breath.”

In the chorus, they paint a picture of their future together, dreaming of a life filled with love and growth:  “I can see a house with the shutters blue/ A couple little kids that look like you/ Kiss me right now, don’t need no reason/ Baby, this love’s in harvest season/ What do ya say? Let’s give it a go/ Build a little life with room to grow/ With the sky this clear/ I can see forever from herе/ Ooh, yeah,” they sing.

This feel-good, nostalgia-filled track was produced by Good and follows the success of the duo’s Top 30 release, “I Tried A Ring On” and the Top 40 hit, “Shoot Tequila.”

“We were raised on 2000’s country and this song is unapologetically bright and nostalgic, just like all the songs we loved hearing on the radio growing up,” Kendra and Krista shared of the song. “We couldn’t be more excited for this song to kick off this next season of music from us.”

“Forever From Here” is already off to a strong start at country radio. With 93 first-week station adds for their new single, “Forever From Here,” this marks the most added first-week song by a female duo/group since 2019.

2024 was the biggest year yet for the sister duo, who earned the title of ACM New Duo/Group of the Year and received nominations for two CMT Awards and two People’s Choice Country Awards.

Recently included in the Grand Ole Opry’s “Opry NextStage” class of 2025, this year is already shaping up to be an incredible one for Tigirlily Gold.
