With just a few months to go until they welcome their first child, Travis Denning and his wife Madison are more excited than ever to meet their baby girl in July.
The “Roads That Go Nowhere” singer shared an update on how they are preparing for the arrival of their newest family member. He revealed that Madison is “doing good,” the baby is “doing great” and they are all currently getting ready for their baby shower this Sunday.
“We’re very excited. I mean, we’re essentially three months out, it’s going to be a lot of fun,” he told Country Now.
Final Touches Around The House
Additionally, they are putting the final touches on the nursery, making sure it will be perfect for the day they bring their little girl home for the first time.
“We’ve painted the trim in the soon-to-be nursery, I guess last week. And tomorrow we’ve got a guy coming in and putting some wallpaper in, some additional trim. So I think we’re going to be pretty much sitting on being ready in about maybe a week.”
Choosing A Baby Name
The couple is checking things off their list one by one, including one of the biggest tasks of all — choosing a name. Travis Denning shared that they’ve had a name picked out for months and are “very excited” to share it with the world soon.
“We had a couple girl names and if it was going to be a boy, we had one or two boy names, but we were very excited that it was a girl because that’s kind of what we both wanted to start our family with,” he admitted.
While they still have a few more months to go, Travis Denning and his wife have already loved getting to share a few milestone firsts as a family of three, including a special visit to the Grand Ole Opry.
In a recent post, he shared a few photos from the night at the iconic venue and wrote, “Baby’s first Opry visit ❤️ always an honor to stand in that circle.” This experience made them that much more excited about all the future adventures they will have together once their daughter is born.
“I played the Grand Ole Opry I think 17 times maybe, and it’s like you get to do it all over again. And I think that’s the whole magic of having a kid is experiencing life again, just through their eyes and stuff. And whether it’s watching ‘Lion King’ or ‘Hercules’ or going to the opera doing work stuff and having them there, it’s going to be very exciting.”
Travis Denning and his wife announced their major life news on March 23 with a heartfelt Instagram post that featured a few photos of Madison showing off her growing bump. The image found the couple staring lovingly at each other while holding up their sonogram photos.

The news came just nearly two years after the couple said “I do” at The Estate at Cherokee Dock in Lebanon, Tennessee following four years of dating.
Denning, while very focused on his family at the moment, also has his hands full with a ton of exciting things happening within his career right now. He is currently gearing up to release new music as an independant artist and has a slew of tour dates on the books.
