Green Bay Packers wide receiver and kick returner Trevor Davis was arrested at LAX yesterday for making a joke about a bomb that no one found funny, especially police. Davis was checking in for his Hawaiian Airlines flight to Honolulu when the agent asked the routine question, “Do you have any explosives in your luggage?” Davis reportedly answered, “Yeah,” and then turned to his companion and asked, “Did you pack the explosives?” His friend answered “no” and told Davis to stop joking around, but it was too late. The agent notified police and Davis was arrested for misdemeanor criminal threats. He was released on $15,000 bail. The Packers and the NFL could also consider disciplinary action. What a moron!
Seth Meyers and his wife, Alexi Ashe, welcomed their second son on Sunday, but this wasn’t your typical baby delivery. The Late Night host shared the dramatic story with his audience last night, revealing that the impatient baby boy decided to come out in the lobby of his parents’ apartment building. Meyers joked, “I called 911 and over the course of a minute conversation, I said, ‘We’re about to have a baby — we’re having a baby — we had a baby.” Police arrived right after the baby was born and helped cut the cord. The nervous parents also had plenty of help from neighbors who supplied clean towels to keep the baby warm. Meyers and his wife named the baby Axel Strahl. They also have a two-year-old son named Ashe Olsen.
Congratulations to Rachel McAdams. She is the mother to a brand new baby boy. The actress kept her pregnancy a secret. As well as her delivery. Surprise! A paparazzi agency photographed Rachel walking with her boyfriend, screenwriter Jamie Linden and their newborn. No details yet about the baby’s birth date or name. Rachel’s kept her private life extremely private. Her reps have not confirmed the report.
True to her word, Amber Heard has donated a large portion of her divorce settlement with Johnny Depp to charity. TMZ says the actress gave between $1 and $ 5 million to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Amber promised to donate the entire $7 million settlement in equal parts to CHLA and the ACLU. So far, no word on whether the ACLU got any of the cash.
