When a family’s dog grew to 250 lbs they didn’t grow suspicious. He had a big appetite and ate a box of fruit He was a Mastiff after all…or so they thought!

When he got up and started walking on his hind legs that’s when they finally realized he wasn’t a dog…he is a BEAR!

an Asiatic black bear to be exact.

Since the family is slightly (and reasonably) afraid of wild bears and is not capable of caring for one of the large creatures, they have since transferred their former family pet to Yunnan Wildlife Rescue Centre, where it will receive proper care from wildlife professionals.
