A social media challenge has now gone viral and this one shows people around the world cleaning up nearby areas and posting before and after photos! The trashtag challenge initially started in 2015 but is NOW catching on!  It is an effort to clean up litter on our beaches, parks, etc. Let’s keep it going!

In 2015, after watching his childhood beach devastated by trash, @AfrozShah_ took matters into his own hands. What started off as a personal mission turned into the largest beach cleanup in the world. Three years later, the community had cleared over 6,000 tons of trash off of Mumbai’s Versova Beach. #trashtag
