Kane Brown is mourning the loss of his grandfather, Steve Allen Brown, who died on Friday (Sept. 11) at the age of 65.

Steve Allen Brown was the father of Kane’s mom Tabatha Brown (described in his obituary as his “favorite daughter”), and survivors listed included both Kane and his infant daughter Kingsley. No cause of death was given.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
