Carly Pearce Reveals Her Teeth Were Knocked Out in an Accident Before the 2020 CMA Awards

Carly Pearce looked and sounded amazing while performing at the 54th Annual CMA Awards but after the show, she revealed to E! News that she was afraid the night wouldn’t even happen.

On Halloween night, she suffered a scary accident and knocked both of her front teeth out!

“I fell and knocked my two front teeth out,. I had a bunch of stitches in my mouth, looked completely different than what I looked like right now, and it was kind of scary because I knew I was going into the biggest week of my life.”

“It looked really bad. It was scary. I was just really fortunate to get doctors that helped and knew the pressure I was under but with every day, I was like, ‘Please Lord, let my face heal so I can do this’ because this is such a huge moment.”

Carly also shared with fans she didn’t have the help of a stylist for the show.  Instead, her mother helped her pick her outfit and prepare for the red carpet.

Carly was a winner at the show taking home the CMA for Musical Event of the Year for “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Lee Brice.
